Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information the deployai.hq Instagram account and its automation ("we") handle, and why. It applies to the app we use to publish posts and reply to comments through Meta's official Instagram API.
What we collect
- When you comment on one of our posts: your comment's ID, its text, the time it was posted, and your Instagram username and user ID, as provided by Instagram.
- When we message you, or you message us: the messages in that conversation.
- Basic delivery records: which comment we replied to, when, and whether the reply was sent.
We don't collect your password, contacts, location or any information from outside our own posts and conversations.
How we use it
- To recognise a keyword in your comment and send you one direct message with the link you asked for.
- To post a public reply to your comment.
- To avoid messaging you twice and to honour opt-out requests.
- To count, in aggregate, how many people asked for links, so we know which posts were useful.
What we don't do
We don't sell or rent your information, use it for advertising profiles, or share it with anyone except the service providers below.
Service providers
Meta (Instagram) delivers comments and messages. Our automation runs on GitHub, Google Cloud and Supabase, and this site is hosted on Cloudflare. They process data only to run these services for us.
How long we keep it
Comment and message records are kept for up to 90 days, then deleted. Aggregate counts with no personal information may be kept longer.
Your choices
- Reply STOP in our DMs and we won't message you again.
- You can ask us to delete your data at any time; see data deletion.
- You can delete your own comments on Instagram whenever you like.
Children
Our content is meant for adults and isn't directed at children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
